How did you pick this theme or topic?
Many of them like sports, so I thought it would be fun to discuss this topic in class.
How did you present the material? (handouts, group work, general discussion, student presentations, etc.)
We started with an ice-breaker about their goals for this AY. Then, we talked about sports, first brainstorming and then playing so they would learn them by heart.
How did students react?
They liked the idea a lot and they actually memorized many of them.
Did they engage with each other and you?
They engage well with each other.
What materials or media did you use? (articles, satellite tv, digital projector, etc.)
