How did you pick this theme or topic?
This speed dating show is quite controversial and popular in China and it raised many discussions about the current society issues. So I think it is a great show for students to watch and then generate general discussion about relationship and social issues.

They find the show is quite entertaining and we had a great discussion later.

It is a great way to make students immersed into daily Chinese and they also practice listening skills besides speaking.

We continue our topic about romance and love. However, each of them also needs to talk about their interest, daily habits, hobbies, etc in order to find their Mr./Mrs.Right.

They like the topic and play the game. It also challenge their language speaking in terms of describing photos and making it into a story.
